Accounts, bills of lading, shipping invoices, reports of damages and repairs to ships, protestations against seizures made by the British fleet, ship registration documents, and other items issued in Glasgow, Liverpool, Nantes, New York, Baltimore, New Orleans, and ports in Haiti, Martinique, and Puerto Rico, mainly to John Juhel & Company and to John H. Behn & Company of New York City. Also, correspondence, accounts, deeds, contracts, and other items concerning the disposition of lands in Jefferson County, New York, and Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; and the settlement of the estate of Henry Boutin and other business affairs, both in France and in the United States.
